I am going to build my own CP. Please tell me if this is going to work. I am going to buy: Power supply SPR-650 watt, Hard Drive 400 gig western digital, AMD FX-57, motherboard CPU combo, ATI Radeon x850 XT Platinum, Maybe a Audigy 4, CD/ROM not sure what kind, 22" LCD Monitor. Do you guys now what OS works best for games? I will have nothing else on here, this is a gaming system only. Any suggestions for me? I could use your help on any knowledge you have for me. Never done this before. Now on Price watch.com they have the AMD FX 57 with a combo processor, is this all i need? Is this too much for gaming? Maybe some of you guys have this stuff and can let me know if good or not. Or tell me if I should get a lesser grade of stuff. Thanks, Dan.

OK I guess I can change my motherboard. Will this be a good one and do I need a sound card with this one, ASUS A8N-SLI Audio Premium nFORCE 4 SLI Audio/GB-LAN/IEEE/USB/PCI-E/SATAII/DDR/ATX 64 939. I know there is a lot to list for this but I want to make sure that I have the right equipment. Also will I need a NIC card or can I use one from my 5 year old cp that sits in the garage collecting dust? Yes next time I will edit my first post LOL OOPS.

Well this is my setup...
Mainboard: Sony VGC-RB30 Processor: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.00 GHz Memory: 1.50 GHz / Two PNY Technologies 512 MB PC3200 Harddrive: 200 GB Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT OC, 128.0 MB Sound card: Sound Blaster SB Audigy 2 ZS Audio 7.1 Monitor: Westinghouse LCD 19" Flat Screen
I haven't had problems running games on my rig, all is good. If you don't mine how much is this going to run ya? I got all of my shit for just over 5G's, but remember I got two of everything. So about $2.500/2.600 for one...

Yeah I figured it would be around 2300 give or take a few. I've read some pc gamer magazines and this is what people are calling the high end stuff. ( the stuff I listed) so we'll see.
