BF 2142

I got it off the EA downloader and I must say it is very fun. It is actually a lot smoother than BF2. I will still be playing both but 2142 is great. It has a buddy list program built right in the game. Let ppl know if anyone else gets it.

I have the beta version with my subscript from fileplanet. This game is too futuristic but it kicks ass. Jr gets into it more than me. You might see him on it if you play alot. Tron check your pm have something for you...heheheheh

Ok I picked up the game last night, and installed it. I don't know what the hell happened, but I can launch the game and hear it, but I can't see shit. I updated my drivers, messed with settings, read the forums, and still no fix.
In fact, my BF2 is fucked up now as well. Same damn thing. Can hear the game, but can't see anything. black screen. All my other games work fine.
Any ideas?

it may help you figure out whats wrong. I'll try and look around to what is causing the black out. OH and read up on installing the patch. They have had issues when people install the patch when the game is running. Try a reinstall of the patch.

Ok got it running.

Apparently, my HDTV didn't like the resolution the game comes set on. (800x600 60hz)

I got the game to run in widowed mode, and was able to change the ingame resolution to what my monitor liked. Then I switched it back to full screen and now it's working fine!

Great! I tell ya, I have had this game since the day it came out and I am still just today finding more crap out that I didn't now. I love it.

So far, I love it too Dan. I like the ability to add, change, or remove clan tags. We need to hook up and play later. My name in this game is Warpage. (it wouldn't let me have SiN) Add me to your buddy list.
