Hey Rick, that's a common problem. You need to run the pb setup file and manually update your pb. websec.evenbalance.com/downloads/windows/pbsetup.exe

If that don't work, then you'll need to go to the HP boards and make a post.

got the PBSETUP and tried that still no go. I guess I have to post at HP seems i cant get on any sever that uses PB.

Yes I got it set as admin. Just installed it on my XP machine and get the same thing.

I did setup my own server with PB on it and that works but cant connect to any other server. May DOS 6.0 and Windows 3.1 will work LMAO

Try this:
control panel>user accounts and family safety>user account>turn user account control on or off>UNCHECK the box that says: Use User account Control (UCA) to help protect your computer.

disable uca. seemed to work for some ppl.

one other thing is...let it run in xp compability.
so you have to have the box with xp mode AND run as admin checked.

there will be a way to work it out. just try step by step and don't through your pc out of the window.

No luck PB still kicks me. I guess i need to find a new game that everyone is playing. Wolf seems to be dead for me now. No I am not going to throw it out the window. LOL

I did get connected to one server its called Flatlizards RTCW server 1.41 Its a running on a LInux thats why I was able to connect and play thay had PB on and running shrub.

Just an FYI, I am running 32 bit Vista with no problems at all. And I don't have to run Wolf in compatibility mode for Xp. Surely there's an answer. Sounds like the master ban list got a hold of your ass lol. I guess you shouldn't have used those hacks hahaha... But seriously, Pierce is on the case at the HP boards, and I'm sure he'll get you fixed up.

I reinstalled wolf and updated both PB and Wolf. I am running wolf as admin and still get the same thing. banned from server. Now what?
