An Engineering Marvel!

As some may know, I work for an apartment complex. We recieved a call from a resident complaining of a water leak coming through her bathroom ceiling.

We checked all kinds of places to see where the water was coming from, but didn't find anything until we cut a hole in the ceiling...

This is what I found:


This had been working to catch a water leak from the apartment above for years!

Finally, the leak got bigger, and the funnel wasn't catching the water like it was before.

Almost amazing ;D

My boss replied: "We're gonna need a bigger funnel..."
