Howdy y'all! A friend here just got an ASUS P5NE-SLI mobo, and we were wondering which option would be the best:
He already have a 7600GS, so does he get another one for SLI purposes, or does he spends like 4x its price to get a single 8800GTS??
Finally, is this mobo much better than the other one he got? (posted in March)
Cheers
Matt

we can't shop @ newegg down here... anyways, one of my friends got the 8800GTX and GODDAMN IT KICKS ASS! The other friend got a good deal on another 7600GS, he'll get it next saturday I think. Any ideas on how better it will be on SLI? Poor me... still on the GeForce 4 MX lol.

It'll be a good bit better. With the ram of 2 cards, he'll see more fps. However, SLI configurations really shine when doing video editing, and not so much for gaming really. Mike has SLi'ed 7800's, and he says there's not much difference in his gaming from when he had only 1 7800.
