How do I make screenshots?

I know I can make a screenshot by pressing print screen but that way I'll only be able to make 1 ... there must be a way that saves the shots automatically?

and how do I make a demo?

By default f11 will save your screenshot as a .tga file in your rtcw/shrubmod/screenshots folder. If you want to change this to a jpeg without having to convert it simply bind the key like shown below and eliminate the hassle of converting to jpeg. Also I found it myself easier to convert it to a bmp from jpeg, but that is simply a matter of software used for the conversion on my part.

Bring down your console using the ~ key while in the game an type the following,

/bind F11 screenshotJPEG

of course you can use any key you want. You don't have to save it to F11. But remember this to bind an "F" key you use the letter F an the number keys. You cant hit the actual F11 key in the typing of the bind.

Akuma, I know you are familiar with the console but for those of you not familiar or for visitors to our site just learning, I explained it step by step.

Sure go get a program that will allow video capture, I like Camtasia Studio the link is here www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp?CMP=KgoogleCStm

This program is real simple to use and will allow you to record your entire game with or without sound. You can change frame-rates for smoother viewing also. It also has an option to save it as an AVI file instead of the Default Cam file that requires the TechSmith Codec. It is a 30 day Evaluation.

You take a demo by typing in the console /record then to stop it /stop record. You will find it in the demo folder in shrubmod. To watch the demo simply open the console and type /demo (the name) by default I think its demo0001 something like that. So, to play it, it would look like this /demo demo0001

Also I found a program that plays back DM_60 files from the demo folder. Here's the link and it also plays back for ET, Americas Army, Call of Duty, Quake4, Soldier of Fortune, Jedi Knight...
